What does this mean?

The Opportunity to Learn survey measures the percent of students and parents who think the school is a good place for learning.

How was this calculated?

This measures aggregates survey scores from both the family and student surveys; each survey is given equal weight when calculating the overall score.

Students are asked to complete a survey each year. NM PED uses the results from these surveys to assess how engaged students are in their learning as well to understand in what ways teachers can improve student outcomes.
